Published under the aegis of France’s Muséum national d’histoire naturelle, this publication demonstrates the exceptional biodiversity of the plaine des Maures, the first nature reserve designated in the Var département, South of France. During a whole year, audio naturalist Fernand Deroussen explored this unique environment to inventory its wildlife sounds. He also recorded beautiful natural soundscapes characteristic of the area.
